Phased into two, this remodel began with scope of work in the basement and eventually transitioned into a main level renovation. More cosmetic than structural, our work on that main level was centered around the jamb extensions + window casing for all penetrations, in addition to installing the cherry valance that runs around the entirety of its perimeter.

The majority of the work involved careful shimming to hit proper reveals on all windows and doors, and a long miter glue up to insure the jamb extension and the casing were one and the same piece. The cherry valance, while appearing seamless due to the careful plank match by the cabinet maker, features a micro bevel at all joints to help disguise any seasonal movement.
