Ment / Grayhaus

Nested near the shores of Lake Oswego, this property underwent some significant structural changes. These upgrades, in addition to the design of the exterior were handled in house by Ment Architecture, while Sara Gray of Grayhaus beautifully crafted a vision for the interior finishes. TaylorSmith was tasked with putting all the puzzle pieces together.

They brought us on largely to untie the knot that was the two story screen wall in the foyer, in addition to supplementing some of the paneling work and miscellaneous trim. The screen wall posed significant challenges working within the confines of the space, but the end result yields a stunning sixteen foot curtain of oak, and boasts not a single visible fastener to boot.
